Choose ONE of the following short stories to work with for this assignment:

“Eveline” by James Joyce

“The Red Convertible” by Louise Erdrich

“Everyday Use” by Alice Walker

“Cask of Amontillado” by Edgar Allan Poe

“To Build a Fire” by Jack London

Find one critical review of the writer’s work from the LSC databases (you must use an article from the LSC databases—No Websites Allowed).  IN YOUR OWN WORDS, summarize the article, especially the writer’s thesis.  Pick two or three quotations to include in your summary. Remember:  When writing a summary, only include the facts of the article.  Hit the highlights, and do not add personal opinion.  Include the full MLA citation of the article.
